Add extra field to events to enter date of sharing match result

We maintain several leagues with our sportspress site. Teams are responsible to email the results of their match to the league leaders. We would like to keep track if they do this in time. If teams are too late submitting their results, they get a warning.
Hence, I would like to know if there is a way to add a field to the events to enter the date when a result was received. So with an export we can compare the match day with the date of sending the result email.
