On my individual Club pages, I’m currently showing the profile, latest tweets and results in tabs.

I would like to add further tabs – one for history and one for ground.

How would I go about this?

  • Hi there!

Under SportsPress > Settings > Teams > Tabs you can add the tabs.

But we have limited options there. We do have games, but we don’t have a ground/venue option.

You could add them if you enable the “details” then add your venue in the content section of your teams (so this would require some manual work).

    Thanks!

I already use the “Details” part for the club profile/history element. This is why I want to add additional tabs.

Is there no way of doing this?

    Hi!

Unfortunately, we don’t have an option for this out of the box. You’d need some custom code to achieve that.

    Thanks!

Do you know what file I would need to edit to amend the “team” page template?

In your child theme, copy the team files from /plugins/sportspress/includes/sportspress/templates/ into /themes/yourtheme-child/sportspress/

Here are the list of team file templates you can modify :
Start with details / events :

    [/wp-content/themes/bb-theme-child/sportspress]# ls team-*
    team-details.php
    team-events.php
    team-gallery-thumbnail.php
    team-gallery.php
    team-link.php
    team-lists.php
    team-logo.php
    team-staff.php
    team-tables.php

Who is the best person to ask for customisation for this?

The best people to answer this question are those of us who provide help in this forum!
    ??

If you would provide more specific detail on your functional and display requirements, what you are trying to accomplish, as well as a URL to the site, it would help others within the SportsPress community to provide support.
