Add Featured Image to Twitter Posts?

This feature will be included in the version 2.4

If this could depreciate to the first image used as part of the post or page, that would be a good feature.

It will.

Plugin will take featured image from the post. if there is no featured image it will take the first image from the post body. if your post body has no images it will take the default image from the “Other Settings->Default Image URL for og:image tag”.

I’ve just tried this with a post, but the image in the post does not show in my twitter feed, does the image need to sit within a specific hook in the template?

I have enabled: Use advanced image finder

You need to have featured image set or you need to have am image in your post source.

Please update to the 2.4.5. It has been fixed there.

Still not working for me as of 2.4.6. No images are posting to Twitter.

2.4.4 was broken, but images are posting fine in 2.4.5 and 2.4.6.

Please try to go to the Plugin Settings->Other Settings and uncheck ‘Verify “Featured” Image’ checkbox. This might help you. if not, please contact support, we will take a look at your site.

It seems that with the update images are now being cropped when posted to twitter, is there a way to turn this off?

Ah, I see that the post thumbnail is being used, I would like to use the full image, is this possible?
