I tried my first snippet today (the one that has the same name as this topic title) and soon realised it refers to posts my site publishes. But I was hoping and initially thinking it could be for posts my site brings in from outside RSS feeds.

I automate this weekly and have RSS feeds I have handpicked brought into my site using draft posts which I review before publishing. The tool I use (Power Automate) is not capable of bringing in the post featured images as thumbnails (just title, excerpt, publish date).

Do you think it is possible to have the snippet targeted at these posts that are automatically created from an automated RSS feed list?

    Hi @stephenwrks,

Thank you for giving WPCode a try!

Indeed, the snippet you mentioned is aimed at your site’s own RSS Feed. Regarding the imported RSS feeds, if they don’t already include images, there’s no way to change them as they are external to your site.

I am not familiar with Power Automate but if it’s an external service, not a WP Plugin, we can’t change that behaviour from WPCode.

    I’m sorry I don’t have better news.

Hi @gripgrip thanks for the really speedy response ??

Okay, understood – it was a long shot and based on a misunderstanding of mine so totally makes sense.

I will still work on my feed now that I know I can and some of the other cool snippets I discovered in your library
