Add Filter? Search by meta product code

We installed Product Codes for WooCommerce plugin,

We require some assistance, we want to allow when searching to check the product codes for products and display the results as normal.

example, in the search box, 1234 will check product title etc…as expected in settings but it will also check the Meta Product Code…

I assume this will require some custom code in the functions.php file?

Could someone support what the code maybe to get it working?
