Add fixed ticker

Not at the moment. But I like the idea! It’s on my list. Might take a while before I find time to integrate this as I am currently focussing on core digital signage features.

That being said.. If you know how to write code, you could maybe add it yourself by writing your own templates. Check out the plugin FAQ about templates and the full source code at https://github.com/mennolui/wp-foyer

Not sure if its the right way to do but I found out that adding a div in combination with some javascript to the single-display.php in the public folder did the job ??

Hi, care to share how to do this?
At the moment, I am using a standalone news ticker .exe file that runs from windows and placed on top of the full screen browser running foyer.

@petricc Yes that might work ?? Just be aware that the ticker will then be added to all displays.

Also, did you copy the single-display.php template to your theme, and made the changes there? If you just edited the single-display.php template within the Foyer plugin directory your changes will be overwritten at some point, when updating Foyer. See the plugin FAQ about templates.

I’m also curious about your code and the ticker you used!
