    Hi,

I’m using SP Project to allow some users to upload documents and it would be nice if the were able to create sub-folders.
Unfortunately, the “Add Folder” button seems to be displayed only to the WP administrators.
Is there a way to get the “Add Folder” button available for all the users (or for non-admin selected users) ?

Other thing, the SP Project is displayed in English. Do you have a French localization ?

    Thanks,

    Thilef

    Hello,

We currently do not have french translated if you translate the mo/po files we can add it to the system.

There is an option in settings to allow users to create folders, please enable that to allow.

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer. I found the setting to allow the folder creation by users, so it’s ok.

I can try to translate the mo/po, but I’m not familiar with poedit now. I will send you the files when done.

I am unable to see the settings in this plugin for some reason? Could this be because i’m on version 4.0?

On the “Global settings” page of the plugin, tab “Main settings”, check the “Allow users to create projetc” property.

Thank you for the reply. Is this option only available with the “Pro” version? Because I just don’t see it.

I using the free 30 days eval version, not the Pro version.
So you should see this property
On the WP navigation menu, open the “Documents” item, then choose “Settings” item in the sub menu.
In this page (Main Settings tab), you should see a checkbox named “Allow users to create project” few lines before the bottom.

Thank you so mu8ch for your help! I finally found the settings, but I feel i’m missing something. I”m trying to make a universal folder for subscribers to upload files to. As of right now, I have a page on my site that a subscriber or admin can upload a file. My problem is, only the user that uploaded the file can see it. I need to make it where any subscriber can see/download that file. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I’m a newbie using this plugin. So I can’t really help you more.
Maybe the author will answer you on this point.
    Sorry

Hey, I really appreciate the help. You got me furter than I would have gotten on my own ?? Thank you

I have just found the “Group User Files Together” option, but it is only available with the premium version. 75 bucks for 1 site license. Looks like that will be the route I will have to go if I can’t find another plugin that will do it.

Thanks for this info. I don’t have the same needs, so I think the basic version will suit to me.
