Add from Server Timeout

I have the most recent version of WordPress and WooCommerce running on my site hosted by GoDaddy. I sFTP ~50k images to a sub directory called product_images in the wp-upload directory. Everytime I click on “Add from Server” via the Media tab in WordPress – it either takes forever to load and only loads a subset of the data which I can’t even then import when I check the master “File” select checkbox or more often, the entire thing takes so long to load, Chrome and Safari freezes and I have to kill it.

Please advise.
