  • I have the same question. Maybe this is the cause of my problem of thumbnails not generating (see other post).

    Edit: it IS.

Can somebody out there help me with the plugin Add From Server? I’m trying to upload a large ebook file (17.6 MB) onto my WordPress site to sell in my e store but can’t upload any more than 7MB into the library. I downloaded and installed Add From Server but I don’t understand where the file will be stored and where to upload it from. I’m totally new to blogging and don’t get the language. Anyone??? Step by step in simple language would be appreciated.

@evatrust – please start your own thread – your question is not the same and this thread is outdated – you can do so here:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/add-from-server

Scroll to the bottom to find the post form.

It’s not moving the files. Link in the library point to the folder were they have been uploaded in the server. It’s just great!

I have the same request as gabstero.

And no Picturgency, in my case, files aren’t just added to the database with their originating folder. They are copied to the /wp-content/uploads/-folder structure :-/ But if they do in your case, what did you do to simply “link” the files?

If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.
