Add gallery to page or post

  • Hi,

    Am I the only one who has troubles with adding galleries to a page or post? I’m using the NextGen button in de wysiwyg editor but after that I’m lost. I searched for hours for an option to just select a gallery and insert it into my post or page.

    It’s like there are some functions missing at step 2 from the Display Galleries tab. When I select the source “Albums” or “Galleries”, nothing happens. Shouldn’t there be my albums or galleries?

    I think it made a lot more sense to
    step 1: Select an album -> Gallery
    step 2: Select a display type
    Step 3: Customize
    Step 4: Sort or exclude images
    Step 5: insert into post/page

  • No, you’re not alone. I have posted several times that when I click on the Nextgen icon to add a gallery to a post or page the dialog box is blank. They told me that it was generally caused by having the meta set at default, and to try choosing page title or something other than default. However, that wasn’t the problem for me, I already had it set to page title. I still cannot add a gallery to my pages or posts. So if it doesn’t work itself out, or I get help (not likely) I will have to find another way to have galleries on my page/posts. Mine worked until several days ago.
