Add honeypot field from AIO WP Security for Registration

  • Hi Max,

    Really good plugin, been using it for years. Was wondering, lately my site is swarmed with spam registrations. I’m also using AIO WP Security, and there’s an option to add a honeypot field for user registration, but I think it’s only for the default WP registration form, not available on your plugin’s registration form.

    Do you think it’s possible to add this field to your plugin? If this feature won’t be available to your plugin in near future, can you give me some tips on how to apply it? Maybe your plugin has a hook I can use?

    Hi Max,

    Yes, I’m using the free version. I do notice that the pro version has captcha feature, but I didn’t want to use that route. I’ve tried implementing captcha before from another plugin, but my users were having problems with that (my users are not very tech-savvy, so I can’t do anything about that except remove the captcha to make it easier for them).
