  • WOuldn’t be hard to implement this via htaccess also. I believe the clever folks at w3tc-fixed already have support for http/2 push long ago.

    With .htaccess is not possible to do it right. You should know all the urls to css and js files for the particular page. If you push content that isn’t needed it will waste loadtime and bandwith – it may slow down not speed up the website. So w3tc should analize the page venerate the needed header and cache it. Then serve the header along with the cached page.
