    There isn’t a way to manually add images, unless you use the normal WordPress media uploader and post editor. WP Lynx creates a local cached copy of the image to prevent from hot-linking images. I will look into why a image isn’t getting pulled on that URL.

    It looks like that image is not loading due to a server configuration issue. The server is gzip compressing the image, which it should not be doing. However, there are things WP Lynx can be made to do to work around this issue. This has been fixed in the development branch for WP Lynx 1.1.0, and is tracked by this GitHub issue: https://github.com/mtekk/WP-Lynx/issues/23
