Add Image and text to header

I am using the Easy White theme (www.susiej.com/wordpress) and I would like to add my own immage to the header to the left, and move the title, which is now centered, to the right. I would also like to add a quote to the right, right underneath the title. This quote will be something I change every week or so.
Where would I add the code for the image, and would the image code look exactly like this?

To add the text, where would I type it? Right below the above image link?,
