Add image number to alt attributes

    Hi Support,

    Can I please ask your help with this question.

    I have 2 product images for a product.

    When I select “Add image number to alt attributes”, the alt tags on the product page are “product name 3” and “product name 4”.

    I thought it was supposed to be “product name” and “product name 2”?

    Am I doing something incorrect?

    Hi,

    There are likely 4 images related to the product being printed in the HTML.
    These could be thumbnails or zoom-in versions that appear when hovering over the image.
    In other words, each of the 2 images added to your product might appear more than once on the page.

    In terms of SEO, I believe that this won’t have a negative impact.
