Add image slider or gallery at the top of blog template

    Hello,
    I am using the free Swatch theme and the blog template for my posts page. Here is what I want to do:

    – add an image gallery or slider at the top of the blog template with a selection of the most important blog posts and link to them on click.

    At the moment, I have a designated BLOG page – in order to link to it from the menu.
    Even if I add a single image in the page, nothing shows in the browser. Only the list of posts.
    How can I add extra information (images/text etc) at the top of the blogs posts?

    Hello Katpal,

    You could get a get a slider/gallery plugin which can add the slider/gallery using php. Then edit your theme with the plugin’s php.

    thanks for the response… but not sure what exactly you mean with “edit your theme with the plugin’s php”.
