add image thumbnail in cart when used with nextgen gallery

Nice plug in!!!
I use it with nextgen gallery, and i have 2 questions related to this use :

Is it possible to display the thumbnail (of the added to cart image) (along with or) instead of the product description in (the widget version of) the cart?

If the above can be done, is it possible that the link of this thumbnail points to the picture itself instead of the related gallery?
