Hi!
I am using Asgaros Forums plugin for my WordPress site hosted by NameCheap. It utilizes WP’s TinyMCE Visual Editor for users to add posts. The ‘Add Image’ button has a field for adding an image description, but turns text entered there into an alt attribute. I need it to be a title attribute. I’ve researched the plugin and found that all the coding to add a title attribute to the image from the TinyMCE editor is there, but it is disabled by default. Could anyone tell me how to enable the add title field from the TinyMCE editor? I have moderate coding skills. I just need to know where to look and what to change.

Thanks! It’s not really an Asgaros issue though. Asgaros just integrates the TinyMCE visual editor that comes with WordPress.

It seems your site is down right now.

Errors like this are logged. Check the error log on your server. If you can’t find the log, please contact your host.

Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Debugging_in_WordPress

You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins.

Yes, it was down due to scheduled maintenance on my host’s end. It’s back up now, no problem.

Does you know how to activate the Add Image Title feature for WordPress’s basic Visual Editor, TinyMCE? It’s going to require a little backend editing, I know that much, but I have a file manager plugin installed so I can access backend files.
