Add Images button doesn’t work

    I noticed yesterday that the ‘add images’ button wasn’t working. I have installed the latest Version 2.5.

    Note that previously added galleries are showing up just fine, with no error. I just can’t add new ones. Screenshot: https://tinyurl.com/yp8r8k3w

    I am having the same experience. In the console I’m seeing this error if it helps.

    Uncaught TypeError: Class constructor D cannot be invoked without ‘new’
    at HTMLButtonElement. (acf-photo-gallery-field.js?ver=2.5:104:25)
    at HTMLDocument.dispatch (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.0:2:39997)
    at v.handle (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.0:2:37968)

    Hello,

    I was not able to replicate this issue from my end. I’m using:

    1. Windows 10 x64
    2. WordPress 6.3.2
    3. Advanced Custom Field 6.2.2
    4. ACF Photo Gallery Field 2.5
    5. Tested on Google Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Microsoft Edge browsers

    Anyone who is having this issue can please kindly investigate and provide us with a solution.

    I am able to duplicate pretty easily, but I am also using ACF version 6.2.1, not sure if that matters. On my test setup I have jquery 3.6 installed rather than 3.7, also not sure if that matters.

    Working Windows 10 x64
    WordPress?6.4.1
    ACF Photo Gallery Field 2.5
    Advanced Custom Fields 6.2.4

    tested both with Classic Editor and Gutenberg

    @galadrielle – are you using ACF Photo Gallery field in the frontend or backend?

    till now from backend only

    The issue has been fixed in version 2.6.
