Add images from server (not media library)

Hi there! Love the plugin! However, I would like to add images to a gallery from outside the wordpress media library I have my files better organized on the server than in the media library. Anyway I could add images to the gallery via pasting their url etc? – There doesn’t seem to be a way to do it!
