“Add Images” takes forever

  • Hi,
    one of our clients wanted a lot of picture galleries on his website as key feature.
    So we bought the MaxGalleria plugin.

    I reduced the picture size of every photo to 1600px with via Photoshop and uploaded them via FTP.

    Then I used the “Sync” feature in Media Libary Pro.
    After that I clicked at “Add New” in the “MaxGalleria” Section to create a new gallery and there at the blue button “+ADD IMAGES”.

    There I selected all the images (about 400-500 pictures per gallery) and pressed “Add to Gallery”.

    From now onj there is the message “Adding images from media library, this might take a few moments, please wait…” which does not go away. I tried it several times, let the computer run for a whole work day, tried it with different pictures from different directories, but it never comes to an end…

    What are my options? Can I disable some features or something?

    It sounds like your talking about one of our paid plugins. Unfortunately www.ads-software.com does not allow us to discuss issues about paid plugins here but you can post this issue on the support forum for the particular plugin at maxgalleria.com and I can respond to this issue there.
