Add ing video to SlideShow and autoplay

Hi, I need to add a video to a slide show that already has 3 images. The slides are set to show for 3seconds and the video is 9 seconds long. I need the video to play first and then show the images after for 3seconds each. How do I add the video as one of the slides and have it autoplay. I need the video and images to play in a loop and fade into each other continuously. I have tried adding the video into a layer of a new slide but it doesn not play when i click preview. Thank you in advance.
