add link to author in template

hello – I have finally worked out how to use the template – within reason.

I am hoping that someone can explain how to add a link to the ‘show author’

I would like to be able to click this link to show the author bio.

I have tried to use:

$lcp_display_output .= $this->get_author_link($single);

but had no luck.
