Add Link to WooCommerce Featured Image

I have a site with one WooCommerce product, and I need its featured image to link to a pdf that opens in a fancybox overlay. For the life of me I can’t find a way to set a custom link on the featured image. It seems like this should be included in WC or WP at the very least, but it isn’t there. Has anyone done anything like this?
