Add linked Eventimage to Eventslist

Hello, thanks for this great plugin and the usefull documentation!
I would like to add the #_EVENTIMAGE in the Eventslist. It shall be possible to click on the Image to view the event. Every case of I tried, created broken links like https://myurl/events/%3Ca%20href=%22https://myurl/events/first-meeting-2017/(…)
I tried to work with this
