Hi there, would it be possible to add a MailPoet form to the maintenance page? So users can subscribe to a mailing list.

I tried simply inserting the form shortcode [mailpoet_form id=”1″] into the description field, but it does not work, the code is simply shown as it is.

Sorry but no as when the Maintenance page is displayed other plugins are not loaded to prevent any unintended output or errors to show up while the website is in Maintenance.

Ok I understand. I also tried activating the pop-up form by MailPoet, but I see now why it would not work too.

So the Pro version has a contact form. Could I design this to only collect email addresses which I then would import to MailPoet later manually when maintenance is done?
I had a look around https://wpmaintenancemode.com/ to see more details about the contact form function but did not find them.

No, it doesn’t store them locally ??

Our other plugin, https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/under-construction-page/, does allow you to save messages locally and export them in the PRO version. This forum is only for free plugins though so if you have any questions about PRO please contact us via the website, thank you! ??
