add media (add image) option

I refer to the option of adding an image in wordpress.

When I add an image it mess up the code in the wordpress html content.

I was wondering if there is a better weay of adding an image so that I can allow a user who has no html skills the ability to change their images without disruption to their layout. Are there plugins I need.

Also when I switch from html view to visual view when I switch back to html some of the html tags are lost. Is there a solution or way of not losing the tags.
