Add media and Featured Post not working

    Have seen some older posts about this, but not on 3.8
    The add media button does not work
    The featured image button does not work

    I have deactivated all the plugins and this does not solve it, have tried a different browser

    I am not a techie

  • Can you define “does not work”? Nothing happens when you click on it?

    Have you also tried switching to a default theme?

    yes nothing happens when I click on it and no have not tried switching to a default theme – that sounds techie!

    It’s not too techie … similar to toggling plugins. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate Twenty Thirteen or Twenty Fourteen to see if the problem persists with one of the standard themes. You can then easily switch back.
