Add Media button does not load any images from Media Library

  • So I have seen a lot of posts on here about 3.5 and how the Add Media button does not work. My problem is a bit different in that the button itself does load up what it is supposed to (a pop up window), but the images in my Media Library don’t actually show up.

    When I go to my Media Library from the Dashboard, all the images are there (even the ones that the Add Media button told me it had an error uploading).

    I have tried what the 3.5 master post said, disabled ALL plugins, switched back to twenty twelve, cleared my cache, fresh install. I even tried adding define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); to my wp-config.php
    No luck.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

  • I’ve noticed that too on some sites that have a lot of posts and images. Only the images attached to a post or page will show up.
    The easiest thing to do is do a search and then the images show up.
    You just have to make sure to name your images properly so that you remember what to search for.

    Searching does not come up with any results.
    Not even the images attached to the post show up.
