When I click the Add Media button to add an image etc, nothing happens. The courser disappears from the body of the post where I intended to set the image.

I can’t add any images to my blog posts now. This happened sometime between Jan 7 and today as my last post on Jan 7 had images in it.

This is an admin problem and can’t be seen on the blog other than an absence of pictures.

    Please help –

Also how can I contact support at wordpress directly for immediate attention to items like this? Very frustrating.

This IS contacting www.ads-software.com directly. If you need more immediate help than what is available here, you could consider hiring someone –

Start with the standard troubleshooting steps:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Media can be inserted via the quickpress area in the dashboard, but not via the posts section. Odd.

Checked plugins. Not the problem. It appears to simply be a broken link on that button, however, I also noticed I can’t access the text box of a post either. Only the view box is available. So I can lay HTML into a post either.

Again, this change in functionality has occurred only in the past two days.

So did you do all of the steps suggested above? Did anything change in the last two days?

No nothing has changed. No plugins were added since Jan. I disabled all plugins and the problem continues. Click the add media button and nothing happens.

blog.deductr.com You’ll see a post from yesterday with an image. I was only able to do that by using the QuickPost feature in the theme. The theme we are using is EvoLive by Theme4Press

    Correction: theme is EvoLve
