  • More plugins that don’t work with 4.0 (even when updated).

    (Using Vertex (Elegant Themes) theme).

    Plugin name:
Remove query strings from static resources

    Version: 1.0 (most recent)

Instead of Comprehensive Google maps you can use:

    Simplified Google maps light

    Cheers,

for me, All in one seo pack plugin is the problem, just upgrade the plugin.

    Can’t agree more with herinxi & grundee3

just update the all in one seo pack plugin and the problem is solved in my case ??

Disabling Comprehensive Google Maps worked for me

    wpAndre solution worked for me

Deactivating the plugin “Comprehensive Google Map Plugin” and now it’s working.

Please advise, as my Media Button is not working either after 4.0 update.

I tried all possible solutions, but unlike some of you, I do not have Seo Pack plugin, so this is not the problem.
I followed the steps you mention here – disabled all plugins and reloaded the page. This, however, has not helped either.

Only after re-installing the Word Press, I managed to get the Media Button working for a while, but it has failed again now.

In the meantime, Word Press requested installing the Sticky Social Toolbar, in order to get the Media Library working, which I did. However this has not solved the problem either.

Thanks in advance for your help, I’ll appreciate it, as my website is currently stuck.

Hello, I am having the same issue. Pressing the add media button does nothing. I have updated all plugins, turned off all plugins, I do not have the Comprehensive Google Map Plugin, I reinstalled wordpress 4.0, I am not using any of the other plugins mentioned. I am stumped on this one. This is for a clients site, and they need to add content, and can not. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Updating SEO did NOT help, but Deactivating the Comprehensive Google Map Plugin did the trick.

Could anyone from the support team please advise us here?

I have a problem exactly like some people describe it here – the Media Button is not working after the 4.0 update.

Nothing seems to work for me, as I don’t have anything like SEO. Disabling all plugins fails to solve the issue, and the system also asked for the Sticky Social Toolbar (God knows why?), but it hasn’t improved the functioning of the Media Button either.

    Please help!!

If you want help please create your own thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting#postform

Hiding in someone else’s thread amongst 30 people with the same issue will not help you!

Great, thanks for the advice. I will create a new thread, however, since the core of topic will be the same, I do not see the reason for doing so. But if these are the rules, I am happy to apply them.

Disabling Comprehensive Google Maps plugin worked. WP SEO did not affect the solution.

Seems like there is a problem with Advanced Custom Fields, possibly the Pro version

I could really use some help here. Using the theme Coherence. Is anyone else having issue with that theme? I have tried everything listed above, removed ALL plugins. I updated SEO, tried turning it off. Don’t have the map plugin, and nothing works. Can’t update the site of a major client because of this. Need help asap. Have also reached out to theme developer to no avail.

wpAndre Thank you very Much Sir
