Add Media – filter by post attached to

I want to add a combobox that will allow me to filter the media by the page/post it is attached to, when adding media to a post.

I have a site with loads of images. When I enter a page I have the Gallery tab that allows me to see only pictures that were attached to the page… but if I want to add a picture from another page I can only filter by date which isn’t helpful.

Any idea where to hack this, or is there a plugin for that?
