Add Media Issues

  • When I am writing a new post and click Add Media, it goes to my media library. But selecting an image, etc. and then pressing Insert into Post does nothing, whether the editor is in visual or text mode.

    To clarify, I can insert images manually using the img tag, copying the url from the Add Media page, but then there are no thumbnails nor links to the larger size.

    Maybe you have plugins that are conflicting with this functionality.
    If possible disable all of your plugins to see if you are able to add through the Add Media button then.

    If it does try reactivating the plugins one by one to see which plugin breaks this functionality.

    Plugins are not conflicting with Add Media. I can select a media file, select thumbnail from the dropdown list, and then Link to Media File. I press Insert into Post, and nothing happens, either in text or visual editing mode.
