Add Media of Choice

WP 4.6.1 BP 2.6.2 EM 5.6.6.1

I would like to allow users to add media to event posts without accessing our media folder. If this is impossible, I’d like to provide them with a file of media to choose from… If both are possible, I’d greatly appreciate your expertise on both subjects.
