Add Media page not working correctly after Add Media

  • When selecting Posts>Add New

    And then clicking the Add Media button, the Insert Media page appears with two tabs “Upload Files” and “Media Library” from where I usually select an already uploaded media file.

    Today when trying to select a media file nothing is displayed in this tab but a spinning wheel (clock) icon.

    I have disabled and deleted all plugins.
    I have temporarily gone to the 2015 theme.
    I have cleared my browsers cache.

    Any ideas?
