Add Meta Description via Yoast SEO Plugin?

  • Hi,

    I need to change the meta description of my homepage. I’m using Oxygen theme and a static front page.

    Site is currently offline so no link can be shared.

    Really need to change my meta description of the homepage – any help would be great!

  • Hello,

    Personally I use All in One SEO Pack – this allows you to change the meta description of the homepage.

    Some themes also have a setting in the theme options where you can change the homepage meta tags.

    I have heard of Yoast, but not used it myself so I am not sure about an option in that plugin, however if you want to switch to the all in one SEO pack, I know you can do it there.
