    Hello,

This plugin has been a great help for me so far, thank you very much. Unfortunately, I have a problem which I could not solve on my own. I need to make a redirection with this kind of rule:

    SOURCE: https://domain.com/page/title
    TARGET: https://domain.com/category/page/title

But when I add “/page/title” as a rule, it will create an infinite loop… And I see no way to change the relative URL option to absolute.

How can I do this? I tried to search the forums, but could not find anything. Thank you very much.

Did you create a regular expression? It won’t loop unless you’ve done that, and so you should modify your expression not to match the target. The plugin should suggest some things to do.

I tried, but I have no idea what I should try to input… I saw no suggestions. Do you have any examples that would work with my test scenario?

A message appears under the redirect when you are editing it.

The support page has more details and some examples:

I already checked that page (before I made this thread), but there aren’t any examples that would help me.

There is a section on the support page about infinite loops. It provides the same advice as shown in the plugin.

You haven’t said what your redirect is so it’s hard to give further information.
