Add more space to # Main Wrapper

I was wondering if it was possible to increase the space on the left, right, top and bottom from where the text is. So, if you look at a page on my website right now, you will see the is only maybe a pixel or two in between where the text starts and the blue background ends. I would like to increase that by 5-10 pixels and do the same on all other sides of the main wrapper. But my question is how?
