Add MP3 file to a still picture

  • I have a photo on the home page https://www.yourweddingdollars.com that I want to add my welcome audio to that of course will show a play button on my photo (or below it) that visitors can click on and hear my voice. How do I do that? This photo is NOT in a post or page, but rather just a photo in the sidebar of my Revolution Lifestyle Template.

    THANKS a MILLION for any help. I’m a beginner but a fast learner if someone can give me direction!

  • You can try using the Audio Player WordPress Plugin which would allow you to upload an MP3 file to your blog and then use the plugin to give visitors a Flash app for playback. However, the plugin has a note from it’s creator:

    Important note: This plugin only works in posts and pages. It does NOT work in headers, sidebars or footers and I do not provide support for placing it there.

    Otherwise, you would create your own Flash app to hold the static image and have a layer with a button to playback the audio file.
