    Hi,

I have spent hours and really cannot find a way to add multiple images, from a create Gallery, to a page.

In a Page, I click on “Upload File” / “NextGen Gallery” and then I see a list of images in a Gallery. The issue is that there is nothing to choose all or more than one pic from that Gallery to be inserted in that Page. A checkbox next to each image would do the trick. Please help me with this issue since I cannot add one image at a time because that would take forever. Thanks for any advice.

@sambiase – NextGEN Gallery does not use the WordPress Media Library to add images to its galleries or to select them for a display.

To insert a display (and the subsequent images) use the IGW (“green button”) and you should be fine.

I would also suggest a few articles we have on our website as well:

    Thanks!

    Hi Cais,

I am really thankful for your fast reply. I have read these three pages you sent but still no luck. I bought a Theme that comes with a Carousel Slider and I would like to use it. Here is the Theme with the slider: Theme with the slider .

What I would like to do is to use their slider instead of the ones provided by NextGen but I would use NextGen in order to add watermarks to the pics and categorize those images in different folders / galleries.

If I click on the Green Button, then those images will be added to the actual Page and not to its default slider. I want to create a Listing (page), click on “Upload File Btn” which is under Slider Images, then click on “NextGen Gallery” and select all pics from a Gallery. But as it is now, I am only able to add one by one.

I attach a pic illustrating all this I mentioned. Sorry if it is a bit confusing but the attached pic should explain by words. Once again, thanks a lot for your support.

@sambiase, NextGEN gallery is thought to work by itself in autonomy, with its own galleries, its displays and its options. It is not intended as an application for other systems.
Ask the vendor of your theme (these forums can’t support commercial products) or read theme instructions if it’s possible use the default WordPress library with their slider.

    Hi Tizz,

I understand that NextGen is intended to be used by itself but the only thing I would like is to have, for insntances, a CheckBox next to each image from NextGen Gallery so I could add several pics at once.

This pic illustrates what I just wrote above. A Checkbox next to each image would solve my issue: IMAGE

Thanks again for your help here @tizz ?? @sambiase – we’re always open to considering adding new features and ways we can improve the plugin to be more helpful. Please feel free to add your vote for any new features you’d like to see in future updates of NextGEN, here: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/feature-voting/ Thanks!
