Add MyCred Transfer Points Widget To Advert Details Sidebar

  • Hi There,

    Great Plugin.

    I am using the Beehive Theme and I have gamified my site with the MyCred Plugin. I would like customers to be able to pay partially or in full for items in the classifieds using MyCred Points.

    I will be using the Custom Fields Plugin to add a field for users to input the amount of points they are happy to receive for their product.

    1. I would like to know how to add the MyCred Transfer Points Widget to the advert details page sidebar under the Useful Tips Widget.

    If this is not possible how can I add a URL link in the form above or below my custom field to a page where the transfer points widget is located and have a “back to advert” button on that page once they have transferred the points.

    2. Where do I edit the text in the “Useful Tips Widget”

    Also the bread crumbs in the category section on the single ad page are duplicate.

    see example:

    Fashion / Women / Footwear
    Fashion / Women

    How do I remove the second line of breadcrumbs?

    Hi,
    1. sorry, i am not familiar with the myCred plugin API so i cannot tell how to do that.

    I see that the plugin has integration with WooCommerce, if this integration allows paying for the order with points then if you will charge users for Ad postings with WPAdverts WooCommerce integration (https://wpadverts.com/extensions/custom-fields/) then in the checkout they should be able to pay with myCred points.

    2. this text is part of the theme (not WPAdverts) but I suppose you will be able to change it with a plugin like Say What? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/say-what/

    3. it seems that when adding the Ad both Women and Footware categories were checked, this is why the path shows twice, if you edit the Ad from wp-admin and make sure only one category is checked then the path will show once only.

    Hi Greg,
    Thank you for your reply.

    But you have misunderstood what I was asking for, I want users to be able to buy “Products” from “Sellers” that have been posted in the classifieds

    Example: “User A” is selling a pair of shoes and wants to accept “MyCred Points” instead of money. “User B” can pay for the shoes with MyCred Points.

    For the featured advert payments I will be using PayPal.

    ohh sorry, i am afraid that buying the products online is not really possible with WPAdverts right now.

    The buyer needs to contact the seller via contact form or phone and arrange the sell.
