Add name to contact form message

    Can I add the first name to the thank you message that is displayed when someone uses the contact form so it would be like “Hey …, thank you for your message. We will be in touch shortly.” ?

    This isn’t something with the built in contact from but you can do this with a plugin like this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/contact-form-7/

    And it would not be possible to add it with some coding? I know you can do this for example for Woocommerce emails by using a function.

    Hey,
    You would have to edit code in the virtue toolkit plugin or use a child theme to override the page template into your own child theme (basically creating a second contact page template using the first as a template.)
    So you can go that route easily enough if you want to edit code.
