Add name to page revisions

Hi,

Im using PublishPress plugin to preview old revisions and was wondering if there is any way to rename/ add a name to the revisions so that they can be used as versionhistory?

For example is it possible to edit the name of the revision so that instead of just showing Author name and publish date it also shows a tag/name such as 1.0 or similar?
