    Howdy,

im looking to add a navigation menu with a Hamburger bars icon to the fixed handheld footer bar…. I found this page (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/remove-the-handheld-navigation-bar/) that goes through adding a new link (to the home page) with icon and that worked just fine but am not sure how to modify the added function to have a functional navigation menu (or how to assign which predefined menu to use) with links instead of a simple link back to the main page.

  • Hi @billy-boy-1,

Typically navigation menus are added by the theme. You could check with the theme author and see if they have a simple way to do this for you. Otherwise, you may find this article from WP Beginner helpful on adding navigation menus.

Hello, the “theme” is Storefront from Woocommerce so figured they went hand in hand, especially since the page I referenced for removing/adding links in the Handheld footer was on the Woocommerce website…. nope, unfortunately still havent figured out how to add a drop-up link for a menu in the handheld footer menu, but if I at least knew the exact function to call for the handheld footer menu i might be able to piece it together…
