Do I need to create a new PHP file under the Hooks folder, or do I add this code to one of the files in the Hooks folder: Footer.php, Plugin_Row.php, or Plugin_Tab.php?

Install the Code Snippets plugin.

Add a new code snippet with the code from the example. Make your changes to the code. Save the code snippet and then activate it.
