Do you have running Gutenberg? If yes try to deactivate Gutenber and see what happens?

Thank you Deexperte that’s exactly what it was. Which is weird, because I had been using it all along. I did notice today that there is an update to it, so I updated Gutenberg and tried it, but still got the same results – it loads a completely blank page when I try to add a new page or new post as long as Gutenberg is activated. I guess I need to go to their site and let them know that there is a major bug with their product.

Thanks for letting me know, I would never have thought to check that plugin.

Next Question: which one is resposible for it?
In case of CM Glossary I got the same issue. They investigated and promised to get out a new release.

Can Romik84 give a statement about Evolve?

@deexperte I tested evolve with gutenberg plugin and it works fine. Have you tried with other themes?

I got the same problem in combination Gutenberg and PlugIns. But not especially with Evolve. But the behavior described in this thread sound similar.

I did try other themes with Gutenberg, and didn’t seem to have any issues, but I didn’t like the other themes well enough to continue with them. The weird thing is that it was working perfectly with Evolve until about three days ago, then it just stopped working. I thought the update from them would fix it, but it didn’t.

@coleenh would need to see some error logs of the website to learn more about the issue

Where do I get the the error log to send to you?

I had the entire website moved (Duplicated) to a new domain name. Once it was completely moved over, even with the Gutenberg activated, for some reason the New Page/Post is now working on the new domain name: aheartbreakingchoice.org – seems to be working now. I am not sure why it stopped working under the previous domain name, but I have completely cleared that domain name and will be rebuilding it (again.) I am having a different issue now – but will post under a new thread, since it is not related to this one. Thank you for all of your help, it is VERY Appreciated.

For anyone with this problem – I honestly do not know what caused the problem, or why it was resolved when the website was moved to another domain – but it seems to work fine under the new domain.

Thanks @deexperte , you are a lifesaver! Had a bit of a panic on with a client who I have recently taken over the management of his site, but he has a completely custom theme.

I am also having this issue with Gutenberg, though not on all sites I administer and not all the time.

The issue I have is that when connecting via my 4G hotspot, I get this issue. If I connect via conventional wifi broadband, it’s fine if I refresh a few times. Swap back to 4G i t works for a while, then I get the same symptoms.

I have had to install the Classic Editor on this particular site as otherwise I cannot connect. Once that is enabled, everything is fine.

Same here, Neilll. Deactivate Gutenberg, activate Classic Editor and I can add a new post.

Gutenberg was fine last week so something’s changed.
