Add new user roles or display custom roles

I’m thinking about buying the pro version, but first I want to know if I add a new user role, will that new role show up in the menu editor?

I would either use another plugin to create a new role with capabilities, or I would manually add a new role in the theme’s functions file.

Will this new role show up in the list of user roles in the top row of the pro version, so that I can then edit the menu visibility for that role too?
