Add new users to Interspire Email Marketer

    I am transitioning from Wishlist Member to Groups. Thank you for such a great plugin.

    One feature of Wishlist that was really important to me is the ability to automatically add newly registered users to my email marketing system. I use Interspire which can use an XML API connection (something I’m not technical enough to understand).

    Does anyone know of anyway to make this work with an existing WordPress plugin or extension?

    We have developed a WordPress plugin for integrating WordPress user registration with IEM ContactList.
    The plugin uses IEM XMP API to add wp users to IEM lists.

    Features:
    * WordPress Registration Integration.
    * Easy setup of XML credentials on plugin page.
    * Choose desired ContactList to use from dropdown menu on plugin page.
    * WordPress username as IEM contact First Name (optional)
    * WordPress email as IEM contact email address.
    * Track user country and map them to IEM custom-field ‘country’. (optional)
    * Track user city and map them to IEM custom-field ‘city’. (optional)

    Requirements: WordPress > v3.0.1 and IEM >5.0 will do.

    You do NOT need to install mod_geoip php module in my server to track user, it is done using Maxmind.
    By now, the plugin works on wordpress default registration fields. If you need customization, we can make it on request.

    Thank you Palash. Considering my needs I resolved to develop my own plugin. I offer it here as well for those that are interested.

    Features:
    -WordPress User Registration Integration
    -Uses IEM XML
    -Map each user type (Subscriber, Contributor, etc) to different contact lists
    -Map ALL WordPress fields to custom fields in IEM. Not just First and Last Name etc.
    -Unlimited installs/WordPress sites.
