Add note to a specific day

  • Hi Team,

    A year or two back I suggested adding labels for public holidays and you implemented these – many thanks

    I have another suggestion, which is to add a note on a specific day. In our business over the holiday period, we dont typically reduce our hours of operation, however we have limited staff on, so offer a reduction in our service offering – I would like to add these specific days into the exceptions/holidays and have a note field, were we could type a small note ie. “Reduced Services” or similar and these notes would display after the operating hours, may in brackets or similar?

    @ideliver Thanks for the feature request. @geddi also made a similar request in his review.

    I will consider this new feature in an upcoming version with the additional note contained in it’s own class. The brackets would need to be set within the text if you wanted these characters to enclose the text.

    Look under the Shortcodes tab in Settings, with the following new parameters:

    • notes
    • note_affixes
    • today
    • tomorrow

    Please update to version 1.58.

    Hello,

    Would it be possible to provide a %notes% replacement code? I’m looking for a way to provide a message that’s already conditional on %if_special_today%, and could be a string or null. So something like:

    %if_open_today%My message here %if_special_today%%notes%%end%, the rest of the message.%end%
