Add numbers after caregories

Check your sidebar.php where the categories are listed and replace that line by:
<?php wp_list_cats(‘sort_column=name&optioncount=1’); ?>
Then they are also sorted alphabetically…

There is a slight problem though, it adds the number on the line below the category title. e.g.

Books
(3)

whereas i need it: Books (3)

This is a CSS issue…

I think if you change your block to:

display: inline;

instead of:

display: fixed;

That should fix it. BUT…it can mess up other things, depending on your structure. Try it and see.

it took me ages to find the correct part ofthe .css file but i eventually did. and it wasnt display:fixed; it was display:block; ??

I had to change this part if anyone lese wanted to do the same:

#subcontent li a {
display:inline;

I am using the “Almost Spring 1.3” theme by Becca Wei. I have the same problem but cannot see where to edit my css: https://www.blind-summit.co.uk/wp-content/themes/almost-spring/style.css
